Their services include home-based health care, with expertise in specialist nursing, palliative care, home hospitals and allied health services such as physiotherapy, podiatry and speech pathology. Challenge
As a Finance Project Specialist, Clinton needed a flexible, agile and centralised system to manage Silver Chain’s finance operations. But, with the team using a variety of spreadsheets and extracts from other reporting tools, accountants would take numerous days at the end of month end to compile an Excel reporting pack.
Silver Chain had previously implemented a budgeting solution. However, the constant reliance on expensive consultants to manage the tool was frustrating for Clinton. The finance team was forced to revert back to spreadsheet reporting, which brought back common Excel issues such as lack of version control and collaboration – affecting budget accuracy and timeliness.
